Due to COVID-19, Okonta Solutions in-person training has been postponed indefinitely. We have switched over to full virtual and online classes. However, we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will keep prospective training attendees updated on any changes.
Are there any discounts given for anyone affected by the COVID-19 crisis?

Do you have a set curriculum?
I am a curriculum specialist. After a thorough assessment, I develop curriculum strictly on a need and client by client bases.
Are your training classes private?
Yes. I also offer small size/group classes of no more than 10 students for online/virtual modules.
What experience do you have with working with ex-offenders?
For over 25 years I have had the opportunity to teach at-risk, as well as the historically underserved population. I’ve completed a program sponsored by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals and received an Ex-offenders Academy Certificate.
What experience do you have working with ESL students?
I have a post-graduate degree in TESOL. I’ve been teaching adolescents and adults ESOL for over 20 years. International education has been my passion since graduate studies where I did my thesis on, “How to Satisfy the Needs of International Students on American Campuses.”
Do you offer job placement after career coaching?
We are happy to assist in job-search for anyone who completes our Career Coaching class by guiding and offering professional career advice. This valuable information is designed to complement what you have learned from the course.
Will I receive a Certificate upon completion of your program?
Yes. All of my students get a Certificate of Completion.
What is your cancellation policy?
A registration can be canceled for a full refund up to a week before the start of the training. Any time after that one week, refund is non-refundable. As stated earlier, Okonta Solutions’ classes are designed and specifically tailored towards the unique needs of a client. This attention to detail takes time, coupled with research and verifiable data.
When do classes start?
We have different schedules, once again, based on the needs of the clients. This is personalized training, so our schedule is in conjunction with the registrant’s time-table. The classes are broken up into 4 seasonal sections – Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn and they usually run about 4-6 weeks. We also offer intensive “micro-learning” classes that can be done in a day or weekend.
What software do I need for your remote classes?
Please read our Technology Settings guide before the class to ensure preparedness ahead of class time. Okonta Solutions always connects with attendees before class begins to check if there are any specific needs or questions regarding technology.
Your mic and webcams are disabled upon class start time, but are enabled as needed for interaction. Generally, the chat box is recommended for talking to trainer.
What are the main features of your online training?
For years Okonta Solutions has been giving in-person training. The training was more personable and left room for one-on-one questions. Switching to virtual/online training is the alternative due to the COVID-19 situation. It is important to note that we have not skipped a beat to ensure that the training is interactive, exciting, lively, well-designed for remote learning, and creative.
The format is a live meeting, not a webinar.
Pre-training material is emailed out so that trainees are prepared.
Time is allotted after class for review or questions. We encourage that wholeheartedly!
Chatbox is enabled for messaging.
What do you charge for your services?
Consulting Fees – as a Consultancy company, we help businesses and individuals resolve adverse problems and clarify concrete, realistic goals. By creating a productive vision that will restructure a temporary obscurity into a permanent, functional solution is the sole mission of Okonta Solutions. We have four (4) levels of remunerations:
Private – reserved one on one consulting with a client.
Group – an assembly of individuals that convene for a uniform class (no more than 10 per class).
Project - a series of assignments that need to be completed in order to reach a specific outcome; a set of inputs and outputs that are required to achieve a particular goal. These projects can alternate from simple to complex depending on the scope.
Retainer - work-for-hire contract which may be full-time or part-time; the client pays in advance for consultancy work to be specified later. The retainer fee may be paid on a fixed, pre-negotiated rate or on a variable hourly rate depending on the full composition and nature of the work to be done.
Okonta Solutions, Inc. accommodates to specific and unique needs of each client. Depending on what the needs are, and realizing the fact that every client is different, a “discovery call” is required. Please fill out the form on our Contact Us page and give a brief scenario of what it is that you’re seeking from our services and we will respond within a reasonable amount of time.
